An anarchic, multimedia performance based on the Grimm brothers’ Hansel and Gretel. Interpreting the story as a fable about our dependence on economic and hierarchical structures, artists Gernot Wieland (Austria), David Jacques (UK) and Carla Ahlander (Sweden) collaborate with the Spider Project to interweave personal stories with the infamous fairy tale.

Gina Czarnecki, David Jacques, James Quin, Paul Rooney & Emily Speed have been named as the shortlisted artists for the 2010 Liverpool Art Prize. The exhibition curated by Jenny Porter and hosted at Metal (Edge Hill Station) opens on Friday 4 June (Viewing on 3 June) and ends on Saturday 10 July with the Awards Ceremony taking place on Wednesday 30 June.
