‘The Great Money Trick 2011′
Installed at 87-95 Dale Street in the heart of Liverpool’s Financial District, a banner measuring 23 metres depicting a variety of ‘Serif’ fonts rendered over a collection of radical pamphlets. The piece spells out ‘The Great Money Trick 2011′ referencing a passage from Robert Tressell’s ‘The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists’ - part of the Tressell Centenary celebrations and Liverpool’s ‘City of Radicals’ year long programme.http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/in-the-mix/2011/02/04/liverpool-art-prize-winner-david-jacques-is-launching-two-major-projects-this-week-he-talks-to-laura-davis-100252-28111380/2/
