‘Time is what keeps the light from reaching us’ - Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art. 24/9/10

An anarchic, multimedia performance based on the Grimm brothers’ Hansel and Gretel. Interpreting the story as a fable about our dependence on economic and hierarchical structures, artists Gernot Wieland (Austria), David Jacques (UK) and Carla Ahlander (Sweden) collaborate with the Spider Project to interweave personal stories with the infamous fairy tale.
